Jeff's true origins are unknown, yet several rumors persist.  One states that he comes from the North, born of a great clamshell. Another claim is that he was begat by a union of stellar gasses in a distant galaxy.

But the one most people believe, and I am one, say that he was originally brought forth by an ancient clan of Marsupials (particularly the Kangaroo) and raised in a secret civilization that received advanced technology from a group of extraterrestrials.

Being a “roo” had its advantages with technology. You had a pouch to carry your laptop, and the feet were great because they worked wonders for tech support. However, using advanced technology was hard. Just you try to use a mouse and keyboard with those short and stubby arms. Jeff had a longing to be like the extraterrestrials.

Because of his natural intelligence the aliens agreed to let him choose an earth form that would best suit his needs. Jeff experimented with many forms, ant, Ewok, Four Toed Speckled Tree Gizzard. But of them his favorite was that of the great Bald Eagle. Jeff spent many seasons with the beasts of the world, playing, and telling stories. He got to know many other creatures, still known to people of the world today, like Coyote and Raven, Ra, Horus and even Odin. Most of them were fun at parties but you would not want to invite them into your home!

Eventually he began to work with others chronicling their lives on his blog so it could be seen and shared by others for many years. So Jeff decided to change, pretty much permanently, into the form of a human being. He liked human females better anyway. Though they can crush your heart they can't crush your skull with one kick of those powerful legs!

Today, Jeff remembers verry little of this life as a technological Marsupial, and despite all of its challenges and troubles, is forging on ahead as a man, trying to live a good and happy life. He has worked for the Memphis City Schools for over 12 years secretly sharing his advanced intelligence with the children of this city.

So, while researchers are trying to figure out why children are learning technology so quickly and can do so much more than the adults, he laughs to himself and moves on to the next student.
