Blogging

What is this thing called blogging? It involves writing about things you enjoy, are passionate about or things that happen in your classroom, your life or your job and then sharing those thoughts and ideas with the blogsophere.

The Ed Tech team maintains a blog, EdTechTeachers, built with Word Press, one of many free tools for blogging. You will be using EduBlog here at tech camp and beyond (for those seeking MCS Technology Certification- more later on that).

Blogging can be addicitive and is lots of fun especially as you see others begin reading your blog. As David Warlick states in Classroom Blogging, 2nd Edition, "...one of the distinguishing characteristics of blogging, and perhaps the most important reason that it has grown at unprecedented rates, is the ease in which people can publish their ideas. Write, paste, submit." It truly is that simple. Once you submit your writing you are published on the web.
