Wikis
Do you ever use Wikipedia? That's wiki technology. Many can work together to build knowledge, collaborate on ideas, and create a community that uses the collected knowledge and then also contributes to the knowledge community.Wikis allow online collaboration (adding and editing content) on documents and / or projects.
In this session, we will explore how a wiki can be used in collaborative projects with students and fellow teachers.

Two free wikis will be experimented with at camp:
The Tech Camp for Teachers wiki is built with PBwiki. 
A wiki can be used with students to
- increase student engagement using a safe online wiki
- showcase your students' work online
- eliminate excuses of lost homework
- have a central place for your group to collaborate

You can use a wiki for you to
- put your files and thoughts so you can access them anywhere
- to partner with others to share best practices on collaboration
- to build content together
