Web 2.0! What are you talking about? How will I know what to do? Just dive in for new ideas. The mind map pictured above (constructed by Markus Angermeier on November 11, 2005) sums up some of the themes of Web 2.0.
Wikipedia defines Web 2.0 "as a term describing the trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to enhance creativity, information sharing, and, most notably, collaboration among users. These concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies."
The site, Go2Web 20, offers links to multiple sites where Web 2.0 tools can be easily accessed.
Join us on your journey for a little fun, some discovery of WEB 2.0 tools, and how you can incorporate new ideas into your teaching.
